About Us

Uniquely Baby™ was founded by Kathy Torjman and her sister, Krissy Singer, in 2011 with the goal of turning their list of "wouldn't it be great if there were a…" that Kathy had been compiling since the birth of her first son. In addition to wanting to create and develop unique products, Kathy and Krissy wanted to have a positive impact in their local communities, as well as the small business community as a whole. Their vision is to create unique baby products by partnering with other small businesses, local artists, and budding entrepreneurs.

Uniquely Baby's mission is threefold: to create, invigorate, and invest.

• We create quality products that are a fresh take on traditional baby and toddler products. By putting the needs of parents first, we remove the corporate feel from our products, and deliver functional, user-friendly products that are as unique as the people who use them.

• We invigorate local economies by--whenever possible-- keeping our supply chain domestic and relying on local small businesses for supplies and services. We seek out aspiring product developers, and work with them to help them achieve their aspirations.

• We invest in local communities by donating a portion of our profits to grassroots efforts and organizations that support positive community change.
